Understanding your relationships.

As an in-person psychodynamic psychotherapist registered with the UKCP and the BPC, I provide a dedicated space to help you understand your relationships with other people and, importantly, with yourself.

How do we work together?

Rather than offering quick fixes or techniques, this work is about developing a deeper understanding of yourself over time, within the safety of a consistent, thoughtful relationship. I will listen closely in sessions and help you notice connections you might not have seen on your own.

Together, we’ll explore how your past shapes your present relationships and everyday patterns, and how they connect to your earlier experiences and memories. We may also look at your dreams, which can offer clues about feelings that are hard to put into words. In a safe, confidential space, we’ll work at your own pace to make sense of what you’re feeling and what brought you to therapy.

Sessions take place once a week and are typically open-ended, allowing our work to evolve based on your needs.

How can I help you?

Therapy can help with a variety of difficulties. While this isn’t an exhaustive list, some of the areas I work with include:

Anxiety

Behavioural issues

Bereavement

Chronic illness

Depression

Family conflict

Life transitions

Loneliness

Parenting

Peer relationships

Racial or ethnic identity

Relationship issues

Self esteem

Stress

Women’s issues

Work-related issues

About me

I am registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC), the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), and I am a full member of both.

I adhere to the professional and ethical standards of both organisations. I regularly undertake continuing professional development (CPD) to maintain these registrations.

Alongside my therapeutic practice, I bring a background of working within publishing and the creative fields, giving me an appreciation for the unique pressures, identity shifts and communication challenges people face.

I am a member of the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC) Trainee Liaison Committee, which manages the FPC Trainee Support Programme, offers seminars for FPC trainee members, and oversees the mentor scheme.
